10 dog-raising misunderstandings that owners should not ignore!

01. Not getting along correctly

Don’t anthropomorphize dogs, let alone treat them as children. Dogs are animals with a social class system. They only see the alpha wolf and ordinary members. Doting on them will only make them think that they are the masters of the family.

02. Walking incorrectly

05. Not brushing your teeth

Brushing your dog’s teeth is very important. If you neglect it, it can easily lead to dental calculus.

06. Take frequent baths

Dogs need to be bathed, but not too frequently. The skin has protective sebum, and excessive bathing will wash it away.

07. Feeding too much

Dogs, especially puppies, don’t know when they’re hungry or full, so they need to be fed at regular intervals.
Recommendation: 3 to 4 months, feed 4 times a day, 5 to 6 months, feed 3 times a day, 7 to 8 months, feed 2 times a day, and after 8 months, feed 1 to 2 times a day
Not recommended: ad libitum feeding (before adulthood)

08. Eat what you can’t eat

Dogs have a lot more food than humans, so there are a lot of foods that you think you can eat, but actually you can’t.

09. Feeding too much single food

If you feed too much single food, such as eating only one kind of dog food, it will cause the dog's intestinal flora to be monotonized, which will greatly weaken the intestinal disease resistance.
Suggestion: often change to different rations, dry food, semi-moist food, wet food, and a variety of food

10. Eat nutritional supplements indiscriminately

A good complete-price dog food can meet all the nutrients a dog needs for growth, so no additional supplements are needed.
Not recommended: Abuse of nutritional supplements, especially calcium tablets, and excessive calcium intake will increase the risk of bone diseases.
